Shandong Expressway Dejian Group won the first prize in the 4th Engineering Construction Industry BIM Competition
Recently, the final defense of the 4th Engineering Construction Industry BIM Competition, hosted by the China Construction Enterprise Management Association, was held in Beijing. Shandong Expressway Dejian Group's application for "Application of BIM Technology in the Construction Project of Dezhou Haijiya Hospital" passed the preliminary selection, online evaluation, and final defense, and stood out among 3153 BIM technology achievements, winning the first prize in the comprehensive application category of construction engineering in the competition. At the same time, the high-speed Dejian also obtained 5 third class achievements in the comprehensive application of construction engineering.
The competition aims to promote the research and integrated application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in design, construction, and operation, and to enhance the digitalization level of the engineering construction industry. A total of 3153 BIM technology achievements were registered for evaluation in this round. After professional review and comprehensive evaluation by the expert evaluation team, they were selected according to the grouping of construction engineering, transportation engineering, hydropower and energy engineering, and municipal public works. 98 first-class achievements, 239 second-class achievements, and 712 third class achievements were determined.
Dezhou Haijiya Hospital is committed to building provincial and even national level clinical key specialties, which can not only meet the needs of surrounding patients for characteristic medical services, but also provide more than 2000 job opportunities. After being put into use, it will achieve significant economic and social benefits. During the project construction process, high-speed Dejian utilized BIM technology to comprehensively control the safety, quality, and progress of the project through a collaborative management platform, achieving the sharing and collaboration of production information among all parties involved. In just nine months, the main structure was capped, once again demonstrating Dejian's speed and quality.
